This is usually the physical embodiment of minor behaviours that have built up over time that resulted in an incident of undesirable nature. This could be experienced as:

· Not listening to commands

· Unwilling to learn commands

· Difficulty during walks

· Lack of toilet training

· Fear based behaviour

· Out of control aggression towards others

· Failure to guard when directed (Protection dogs only)

Behaviour

The importance of behaviour is unrivalled as it gives the best indicator as to where your dog is mentally, this in turn allows further insight into what the owner has influenced consciously or subconsciously. This section is the most important in the process of correcting any issue that arises, as accurate diagnosis ensures positive developments.

Action

Once the concerning factors are targeted, (as a Team) Lisen K9 and the Owners must commit to generating a bespoke training plan in order to increase the possibility of successful transformation.

Barrier

There are various barriers that can stand in the way of achieving the desired training outcomes, some of which are obvious and others not so, the following are some examples:

Solution

The solution is embedded in ensuring that all the above barriers are exposed resolved and support is given at every step of the way by Lisen K9. We understand that ‘your dog is not a robot’ and every dog has its own unique character; at no point is the aim to take this away. The goal is always to make your dog its best self and empower the owner to better understand their dog’s growth and mind-set.

Professional Protection Training

Personal Protection with Goliath - No two clients are the same and neither are their dogs needs. Here we have Goliath the handsome XL Bully going through his handler protection training. Control and balance are the foundations for any type protection work and is something we educate our clients about. We approach every session as if it was a luxury training experience, no expense or detail spared.

1-2-1 Dog Training

Lilo working on obedience: Here we have the lovely but very energetic XL bully puppy learning how to focus and work for her rewards. We focus on working with your dogs natural traits and so providing conflict free training. We believe in coming out to client locations to provide meaningful training that ensures their dogs understand that home is where it all begins.

Residential Training

Alfie working on Communication: Here we have Alfie the very independant and self focused Husky who has enrolled in his own bespoke residential program. At Lisen K9 we take a long look into the dogs breed traits along with owner expectations and from there generate a realistic and result based training program. We all know Huskies are known for being very hard of hearing yet we have successfully gotten through to Alfie.
